As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Elastic, you'll play a key role in driving our continued growth by engaging prospective customers, understanding their business challenges, and creating high-quality opportunities that fuel our sales pipeline. Working closely with Account Executives and Marketing, you'll identify the right prospects, spark meaningful conversations, and help organizations discover how Elastic's platform can solve their most critical business challenges.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Partner for Success: Collaborate closely with your Account Executives and Marketing to identify target accounts, execute strategic campaigns, and generate high-quality pipeline across your territory.

• Prospecting: Prospect into strategic India Public Sector accounts through a combination of phone, email, social selling, events, and other outbound channels.

• Create Meaningful Conversations: Engage inbound and outbound prospects through a thoughtful multi-channel approach. Ask great questions, uncover business challenges, and qualify opportunities that create value for both the customer and our sales teams.

• Leverage Technology: Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Demandbase, Sumble, AI-powered tools, and other sales technologies to research accounts, identify key decision-makers, personalize your outreach, and maximize your effectiveness.

• Become an Elastic Expert: Develop a strong understanding of the Elastic platform, our AI-powered solutions, and the industries we serve so you can confidently articulate business value and connect customer challenges with the right solutions.

• Learn, Grow, and Own Your Development: Take ownership of your growth by embracing coaching, continuous feedback, and ongoing enablement. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues who are invested in helping you build a successful long-term career at Elastic.

What You Bring:

• Sales, Sales Development, or customer-facing experience

• Experience selling into or working with the India Public Sector, with an understanding of ministries, defence, healthcare, and government agencies.

• A strong drive to succeed and a genuine desire to build a successful career in sales.

• A highly coachable mindset: you actively seek feedback, embrace challenges, and continuously look for ways to improve.

• Curiosity and a passion for understanding technology, customer challenges, and how businesses grow.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage prospects confidently through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple opportunities.

• AI-First Mindset: You embrace AI as a thought partner, using it to learn faster, work smarter, personalize outreach, and continuously improve.
