Working together onsite strengthens how we operate, enabling faster decisions, clearer communication, and stronger execution, so you can make a greater impact and move work forward with speed and clarity.   In-Office Expectation:  This role is expected to work onsite five days per week, supporting a highly collaborative, in-person team environment.   We are hiring Customer Billing Specialist , who will be working with internal and external customers to perform various billing and other AR-related functions to support the Nextiva’s billing operations processes.  Over 90% of the communication in this role will be in English (verbal & written). Follow Nextiva Mexico on Instagram: @nextiva_mexico   Be sure to check out our rewards & benefits listed below  Main Responsibilities: Review invoices and create credit memos to customer accounts Assist customers with billing questions and resolve billing issues Issue credits for service/product removals and cancellation Research and respond to customer credit card disputes Maintain detailed logs of customer interactions Answer inbound phone calls and instant messages Support Nextiva’s ticketing system Provide back-up customer support for other positions as needed Create, review and apply incoming payments Process credit applications and set customers up on invoicing Work with internal customers in other departments as needed Research discrepancies and help to settle disputes Order service disconnection (disable) of accounts as necessary Update customer account information to include change of address, payment information or contact information Send customer copies of invoices upon request Participate in Billing System configuration as needed Perform other billing tasks as assigned Position Requirements: Experience in customer service roles and call center environment Advanced English (both written and oral) Exceptional Excel Skills and general computer literacy Basic accounting and bookkeeping background Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills Bachelor's degree Ability to work both independently and in a team setting with minimal supervision Flexibility and willingness to align with the working hours of a team based in the United States, specifically in the state of Arizona, as needed Will be a great plus: Prior experience in Billing or in a customer-facing role Nextiva DNA (Core Competencies) Nextiva’s most successful team members share common traits and behaviors: Drives Results : Action-oriented problem solvers who quickly bring clarity and  simplicity to ambiguity, challenge the status quo, and lead meaningful change; celebrating wins to fuel momentum.
