The Group: SageMaker Unified Studio is an AI-assisted unified development environment, designed to provide an integrated experience for customers using AWS Analytics and ML services without regard for service boundaries. It targets Data Engineers, Data Scientists, SQL Analysts and IT Administrators with persona driven experiences

Key job responsibilities

• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
• Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.
• Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.

SageMaker Unified Studio (SMUS) is a growing team excited to create a development experience for our Data Engineering and Data Analyst customers. We have a wide range of talented engineers on the team, and many diverse tasks that we work on day to day. We move quick, are particularly collaborative, and know how to have a good time while doing it.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
