The 2026 conference theme is “From Data to Policy: Transforming Systems for Sustainability.” The live Khalifa University payment portal lists registration categories for academics, students/retired participants, journal editors and industry attendees. Current listed fees including VAT are USD 650 early / 700 late for academic in-person registration; USD 250 / 300 for students or retired participants; USD 250 / 300 for C&IE Journal Editors; USD 650 / 700 for a three-day industry pass; USD 300 / 400 for a one-day industry pass; and USD 250 / 300 for academic online participation. One paper is covered by registration; the portal states USD 250 for an extra paper and notes that papers over 10 pages may incur USD 15 per additional page from the publisher. Optional gala dinner and industrial visit charges are listed separately.
Eligibility requirements
Open registration categories include academic, student/retired, C&IE Journal Editor and industrial participants. Student-rate registrants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD program and provide valid proof of student status. Accepted-paper authors should follow the conference’s author-registration requirements.
