Aalto University's Department of Computer Science is recruiting a doctoral researcher in probabilistic machine learning for biology-informed dynamical systems.

The PhD work will develop biology-informed Gaussian-process models for dynamical systems, including uncertainty quantification, heterogeneous trajectories, partial observability and interpretable mechanistic ODE discovery. The appointment is for two years with an option for a two-year renewal. Starting salary is EUR 3,168.20 per month and includes occupational health benefits.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants should have a strong background in probabilistic machine learning, statistics, applied mathematics, computer science or a related field and strong programming skills. A master's degree must be completed before the contract begins.
