Drive full-cycle sales: Manage commercial engagements end-to-end, from outbound prospecting and product demonstrations to contract negotiation, closing, and renewal management. Expand regional footprint: Generate outbound pipeline and qualify SME opportunities across Northwest Europe to systematically win new logos. Build strategic relationships: Develop trust-based partnerships with prospective clients and key internal stakeholders to ensure long-term commercial success. Exceed commercial targets: Consistently deliver at or above annual sales quotas while driving trial management and pipeline generation activities. Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, and Business Intelligence teams to refine product positioning and expand market share. Maintain forecast discipline: Deliver accurate, up-to-date monthly and annual pipeline forecasts within internal sales systems.
What you'll need (Must-haves): 1–3 years of commercial experience in account management, business development, or technology sales. Proven track record working for a technology or data vendor, with exposure to full-cycle commercial processes. A proactive 'hunter' mentality paired with strong negotiation skills and disciplined pipeline management. Professional fluency in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Nice-to-haves: Direct industry experience or commercial background in the maritime or commodities sector. Working knowledge of modern sales tools such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Fluency in an additional European language.
