We are seeking an Accountant for our Countries accounting II Unit. Our unit is responsible for several branches of the bank and different subsidiaries. You will play a key role for SEB Germany branch and subsidiary accounting, you will work closely with multiple levels within Global Finance, which represents a great opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of a finance department in a rapidly growing digital organisation.

As An Accountant You Will Be Responsible For:

• Flawless execution of Records-to-Report transactional activities

• Month-end closing procedures and bookkeeping tasks

• Follow processing and reporting deadlines

• G/L accounts reconciliation

• Communication with other SEB group units and stakeholders

• Work together with the team on continuous process improvements

• Follow Internal Controls of Financial and Reporting framework

To Thrive In This Role, We Believe You Have:

• Over 1 year of combined experience in accounting and finance

• Proficiency in English

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

• Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity

• Ability to multi-task, effectively manage time and prioritize responsibilities

• A degree in Finance area is an advantage

• Experience working with IFRS and local standards is an advantage
