We are seeking a Plant Accountant to serve as the primary on-site finance partner for our Morristown manufacturing facility. This position plays a key role in supporting plant operations through financial analysis, cost control, reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Cost Management Monitor factory spending and analyze budget and forecast performance. Prepare variance analyses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities. Manufacturing Finance & Reporting Support month-end close and financial reporting processes. Analyze manufacturing costs, labor expenses, inventory transactions, and operational variances. Develop and maintain plant KPIs and performance reports. Fixed Asset & Capital Management Maintain fixed asset records and accountability. Track capital expenditures and project spending. Coordinate asset audits and inventory verification activities. Compliance & Internal Controls Review payment requests for accuracy, approvals, and policy compliance. Support internal and external audits. Help strengthen financial controls and improve finance processes. Cross-Functional Partnership Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, HR, and Corporate Finance teams. Serve as the primary finance liaison between the Morristown facility and corporate finance leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3+ years of accounting, manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or plant accounting experience. Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills. ERP system experience preferred. Why Join Greenworks?
