Accountant | SEB, Vilnius

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Be responsible for accounting processes under your supervision, ensuring daily accounting tasks and month-end closing procedures and controls within the area assigned to you

• Provide data necessary for financial reporting process within the area of your responsibilities

• Handling communication and requests received from business stakeholders and external parties

• Work together with the team on continuous process and accounting system improvements and efficiency initiatives

• Actively participate in Baltic wide initiatives in relation to accounting topics within the assigned area of competence

• Contribute to development of internal organizational documents, policies and procedures

To Thrive In This Role, We Believe You Have:

• Higher education in finance, economics or accounting

• At least 1 year experience in accounting

• Willingness to learn new things and actively follow developments in accounting and tax related matters

• Good communication and cooperation skills

• Initiative, high accuracy and sense of responsibility

• Good MS Excel knowledge and analytical work skills

• Good knowledge of spoken and written English

• Experience in work with Oracle Financials will be considered as advantage

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Good time management and activities’ prioritization skills

• Ability to adapt to changing environment
