What You Will Be Doing

A key member of the Corporate Services team, the Accounting Manager will take ownership of a diverse client portfolio and build trusted relationships through the consistent delivery of high-quality service. The role carries responsibility for the accurate and timely delivery of accounting, tax, corporate secretarial and compliance outputs, while proactively managing risk, resolving issues and maintaining strong commercial discipline across budgets, time recording and fee recovery. The Accounting Manager will create a well-organized and collaborative team environment, establishing clear priorities, delegating effectively and maintaining robust quality oversight. Through regular feedback, coaching and performance support, they will develop capable and engaged team members while strengthening operational efficiency through practical improvements to processes and controls. Client Onboarding and Administration

  • Coordinate the collection and preparation of KYC, AML and compliance documentation for review by the Compliance Officer and Client Acceptance Committee
  • Manage bank account opening requirements for new and existing client entities
  • Liaise with legal and tax advisers, notaries and other external parties throughout entity incorporation and transfer processes
  • Oversee the accurate set-up of client entities across accounting, administration and compliance systems, including all supporting agreements and control documentation
  • Partner with Internal Administration to establish appropriate fee structures and invoicing arrangements

Client Service and Portfolio Delivery

  • Manage a portfolio of client entities, ensuring enquiries and service requests are acknowledged and addressed promptly in line with company standards
  • Oversee the timely and accurate delivery of client accounting, tax reporting and corporate secretarial services, including board and shareholder meetings
  • Maintain accurate, complete and well-organised client records and document workflows
  • Coordinate with the Fund Services team and other internal stakeholders to support effective delivery across client engagements

Compliance, Risk and Commercial Management

  • Oversee ongoing KYC, AML and compliance obligations, including periodic reviews and the timely escalation of issues
  • Manage client budgets, time recording, billable-hour performance and team timesheets to support effective portfolio management
  • Monitor outstanding client invoices and coordinate timely follow-up and fee recovery

Team Leadership and Operational Effectiveness

  • Lead and support team members in delivering consistently high standards of client service
  • Plan and prioritise team workloads, delegate effectively, and review the work of junior team members
  • Manage team performance and development in accordance with Group policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the management team to address operational, training and resourcing requirements and to escalate material issues

What You Will Need

  • Three to five years’ experience in a comparable role within the trust, corporate or financial services sector
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, proficiency in German and French would be an advantage
  • A relevant academic or professional background in accounting, finance or economics
  • A strong client focus and commitment to delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of the Luxembourg legal and regulatory environment, as well as industry requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook, and experience with accounting software; knowledge of BOB would be an advantage
