Full job description

Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview):

Do you want your acquisition expertise shaping a Marine Corps command-and-control portfolio rather than sitting in a briefing binder? As a Senior Acquisition Program Analyst supporting PM MAGTF C2 at Quantico, you will advise the Portfolio Management and Solutions & Integration Teams on the principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition under the DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework. You will be the voice senior leadership turns to when a strategy has to hold up to Federal, DoD, and DoN scrutiny. Our team is built on giving experienced analysts real influence over portfolio-level decisions from day one.

Provide advice and recommendations on systems acquisition and program management in the development and execution of the DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework. Gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of MAGTF C2 programs, including compliance with U.S. Code, FAR/DFARS, DoD, and DoN acquisition policy. Plan, research, and assess MAGTF C2 acquisitions across development, production, and deployment; draft plans and recommend strategies that meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives . Develop and revise acquisition reports and documents required by Federal, DoD, and DoN reporting requirements, in coordination with Government counterparts. Support program management reviews and senior-level meetings, developing briefings and schedules of program status and acquisition tasks, and prepare Bi-Weekly SITREP inputs with an executive summary.

Demonstrated history of delivering acquisition strategy, documentation, and senior-level analysis for DoD ACAT programs — 12 years' relevant experience per the Staffing Matrix. Bachelor's degree. Active DoD Secret clearance with ADP-II/IT-2 (T-3) eligibility; able to obtain SIPRNet access. Working command of the DoD Adaptive Acquisition Framework (DoDI 5000.02) and Federal/ DoN acquisition policy.

Defense Acquisition Workforce certification (Program Management, Advanced) or PMP. Prior support to a USMC or Navy program office, ideally within Marine Corps Systems Command. Comfort operating inside a Scaled Agile Framework ( SAFe ) portfolio — PI planning, epics, capability roadmaps. The kind of writer who can turn a messy staff action into a clean decision brief.
