Agile Modeling & Simulation Engineer - Senior - #920 Clearance Required:   TS/SCI   Dayton, Ohio - 100% onsite   Position Overview   The Senior Agile Modeling & Simulation Engineer applies advanced digital engineering and modeling capabilities to design, expand, and synchronize complex systems architectures. Operating under minimal oversight, this role focuses on translating technical specifications into viable SysML models, modernizing active simulation pipelines, and enforcing data standardization parameters across ongoing NASIC/A9M projects.   Core Responsibilities   Advanced Systems Modeling:  Performs hands-on systems engineering, architectural design, and complex model building using MBSE methodologies to produce dynamic intelligence structures.   Workflow Modernization & Ontology Standardization: Provides technical recommendations and implements code/scripts to modernize simulation workflows. Standardizes modeling ontologies to ensure complete data consistency across the directorate.   Reporting & Documentation Support:  Actively drafts technical content for the monthly MBSE Performance and Feasibility Assessment Report. Documents data standards, system behaviors, and trade studies.   Agile Integration Collaboration:  Works with Agile developers, product owners, and data scientists within standard JIRA/Confluence sprint cycles to ensure that physical system properties, performance envelopes, and intelligence characteristics map properly to software backlogs.   Qualifications & Experience   Required:   Education & Experience:  Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience OR a Master’s degree and 8 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, or a related technical discipline.   Technical Expertise:  Extensive experience defining systems boundaries, tracking interface definitions, and modeling physical/functional architectures using SysML toolsets with minimal oversight. Strong background deploying modern simulation packages.   Clearance & Compliance:  Active TS/SCI security clearance for 100% on-site support at Wright-Patterson AFB. Experience executing engineering tasks under strict DoD/IC software guide standards.   Desired:   NASIC Experience:  NASIC experience highly desired, not mandatory.
