Work Model: Onsite About This Role: SK Hynix is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to operate our AI Data Center Testbed. The successful candidate will evaluate various solution partners' technologies and determine optimal infrastructure configurations for next-generation AI/HPC systems. Key Responsibilities: AI/HPC Infrastructure Architecture: Design and optimize system architecture for 1~5MW class AI Data Center Testbed Solution Partner Evaluation: Technical validation and comparative assessment of hardware/software solutions from various partners Performance Optimization: Analyze trade-offs between compute, memory, networking, and storage; optimize system-level performance and thermal efficiency Test Infrastructure Development: Build automated test infrastructure and benchmark environments Technology Roadmap: Establish technical roadmap and standardization strategies for next-generation AI/HPC infrastructure Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external solution partners to validate integration and performance Required Qualifications:     Education Master degree or higher in Computer Engineering or related field (Ph.D. preferred) Experience 15+ years of experience in distributed systems, cluster computing, and cloud infrastructure Hands-on experience with heterogeneous computing and accelerated computing architectures Strong understanding of GPGPU technologies and related frameworks (OpenCL, CUDA, etc.) Linux platform and system-level programming experience Business-level English communication and documentation skills Technical Skills System Architecture & Design Distributed/Cluster Computing Cloud Infrastructure & Virtualization Resource Allocation & Task Scheduling Network Topology & Monitoring Storage Systems (NoSQL experience preferred) Automation & Test Infrastructure Programming: C/C++, Python, Perl, Java Preferred Qualifications: HPC (High Performance Computing) data center operation experience AI/ML workload optimization experience Thermal management and power efficiency optimization experience Solution vendor evaluation and partnership management experience Advanced degree (M.S./Ph.D.) in relevant field Publications in relevant technical conferences/journals Core Competencies: Competency Area Key Requirements System Architecture Distributed systems, cluster, cloud infrastructure design Accelerated Computing GPGPU, heterogeneous computing, hardware acceleration Performance Optimization System-level performance analysis and optimization Technical Leadership Translate complex requirements into production-ready solutions Partner Management Solution partner technical evaluation and collaboration   Requirement:       Authorized to work in the US     Benefits: Top Tier health insurance at no employee cost Paid day offs: Paid Time Off, Company Holidays, Parental Leave, Happy Fridays 401k Matching Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for Health Care & Dependent Care Educational reimbursement up to $10,000 per year Donation Matching and volunteering opportunities Corporate discount programs Free Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner provided to employees Compensation: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
