The current program supports research-focused and teaching-focused visiting scholars during Fall and Spring, with Summer visits considered case by case. Category 1 research visitors may teach up to two courses; Category 2 visitors perform duties similar to full-time visiting faculty. AU lists recurring application deadlines of December 31 for Summer, November 15 for Spring and February 3 for Fall.
