Ajman University's current outbound exchange page says students continue paying Ajman University tuition and fees and do not pay host-university tuition under the exchange route. Students are responsible for personal costs such as visas, international and local travel, housing, meals, books, equipment and insurance. Eligible applicants are automatically nominated for the AU Outbound Exchange Student Scholarship, which covers 50% of AU tuition; the university states that one student per college is selected through interviews. Applications are initiated through Ajman University's Compass system, followed by nomination and finalization through the OIAA/ORS process.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants need a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5, or at least 3.0 for US/UK universities; at least two consecutive full-time semesters and 30 credit hours completed at AU; no relevant disciplinary record; and any host-university requirements. Final-year students may be considered with a dean recommendation. College of Medicine and Dentistry students are not eligible under the current exchange program. Exchange is offered in Fall and Spring, not Summer.
