MAKE AN IMPACT Requirements:   We’re looking for an experienced professional to join the team as an Alteryx Automation and Data Controls Specialist . The role will focus on developing and maintaining Alteryx-based automation solutions, implementing effective controls, and supporting robust data lineage across critical processes. The successful candidate will work with technology, operations, risk, control owners and data stakeholders to improve process efficiency, strengthen control effectiveness and enhance transparency across the data lifecycle. What you’ll do Design, develop, test and implement scalable automation workflows using Alteryx . Translate business and control requirements into practical, sustainable automation solutions. Automate data preparation, reconciliation, reporting, validation and exception-management processes. Implement preventive and detective controls across automated workflows. Define control logic, control evidence, ownership, frequency, thresholds and escalation procedures. Monitor automated processes and investigate exceptions, data-quality issues and control breaks. Maintain clear documentation for workflow design, dependencies, assumptions, input and output data, and operational procedures. Support the creation and maintenance of data lineage , Identify data-quality risks and implement validation checks to improve completeness, accuracy, timeliness and consistency. Partner with stakeholders to rationalise manual processes and identify opportunities for standardisation and reuse. Support user acceptance testing, release management, production implementation and post-implementation reviews. Provide clear management information on automation performance, control effectiveness, issues and remediation progress. The following would be desirable: Experience with Alteryx Server, Alteryx Designer Cloud or equivalent workflow-management platforms. Exposure to SQL, Python, VBA, Power BI or other data and automation technologies. Experience with data-management, metadata or lineage tools. Knowledge of data-quality frameworks, risk and control self-assessments, operational resilience or regulatory reporting. Understanding of change management, software development lifecycle and production-support processes. Relevant Alteryx, data-management, risk or technology certifications. Skills and capabilities Automation development: Ability to build reliable, maintainable and reusable Alteryx solutions. Control mindset: Ability to identify risks, design appropriate controls and evidence their operation. Data understanding: Ability to trace data from source to output and explain transformations clearly. Stakeholder management: Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders from different disciplines and locations.
