AUD's current Incoming Study Abroad and Visiting Student Application pages support undergraduate and graduate visiting students. Undergraduate applicants must be in good academic standing with at least a 2.0-equivalent cumulative GPA and meet English requirements when applicable. The online visiting-student application carries a non-refundable AED 420 application fee. AUD also states reservation deposits after acceptance: AED 5,000 for undergraduate visiting students and AED 2,000 for graduate visiting students, applied toward tuition. Exchange participants from official AUD partner institutions are exempt from the application fee and reservation deposit.

Visiting students must be actively pursuing a degree elsewhere, satisfy AUD academic and English-language requirements for the intended level, and submit the required academic, passport, health and course-selection materials.
