Analyst, Data Governance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analyst, Data Governance based in Canada. This role focuses on strengthening data quality, governance, and trust across a large, complex organization. You’ll help establish standards, controls, and monitoring practices for critical data assets used across the business. Working with both business and technical stakeholders, you’ll investigate data issues, identify root causes, and drive practical improvements. The position combines hands-on data analysis with metadata management, reporting, documentation, and governance initiatives. You’ll use modern analytical and data-management tools to turn complex datasets into actionable insights and measurable outcomes. Your work will help improve data integrity, consistency, transparency, and decision-making across teams.
