Our partner is looking for an Analyst, Sales Operations & Marketing, Power Sports & Power Equipment based in Canada. The Analyst will support sales, marketing, inventory, and profitability objectives across Powersports and Power Equipment/Marine businesses. You will turn sales data, market conditions, competitive activity, and operational information into actionable insights and recommendations. The role combines business analysis, reporting, program coordination, and cross-functional collaboration across sales and marketing functions. You will contribute to national and regional program planning, dealer operations, demand planning, inventory management, and performance reviews. Your analysis and presentations will help management and cross-functional teams make timely, informed business decisions. Working in a collaborative hybrid environment, you will engage with internal teams, regional stakeholders, dealers, vendors, agencies, and external partners. This is an opportunity to build expertise across sales operations and marketing while contributing to continuous process improvement and business performance.
Develop and maintain recurring reporting covering retail, wholesale, inventory, market performance, and profitability across assigned business areas. Analyze performance against business plans, identify risks and opportunities, investigate underlying drivers, and prepare recommendations or countermeasures for management. Support national and regional sales program planning, implementation, tracking, and post-program evaluation, including business cases, scenarios, timelines, and performance analysis. Support retail sales objectives, dealer ordering and allocation processes, demand planning, monthly sales and production planning reviews, and inventory flow recommendations. Prepare accurate and concise presentations, meeting materials, key messages, and recommendations for program meetings, business reviews, sales and production planning, and executive discussions. Develop dealer communications, bulletins, pricing materials, program information, and launch support materials in line with approved sales direction and program terms. Review advertising, digital marketing, events, training, and point-of-sale activities to ensure marketing execution supports business priorities and sales objectives. Monitor competitive programs, market developments, dealer feedback, and industry conditions, translating findings into insights for sales, marketing, and inventory decisions. Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Product Planning, Finance, Sales and Production Planning, regional teams, and other stakeholders to align priorities and resolve operational issues. Apply PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) principles to improve reporting, workflows, controls, and business processes. Support issue resolution, follow-up, and cross-functional alignment to ensure reporting, programs, launches, and operational activities are completed accurately and on time. Requirements: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Finance, Analytics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 1–3 years of experience in sales operations, marketing, business analysis, reporting, or a related field. Experience analyzing sales or business performance, working with large datasets, developing recommendations, and coordinating deliverables across multiple stakeholders. Experience in automotive, powersports, power equipment, marine, dealer networks, or consumer durable goods is considered an asset. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, charting, and report development. Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Word skills; experience with business intelligence, enterprise reporting, or data visualization tools is an asset. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and sound business judgment. Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into practical insights and recommendations. Strong planning and organizational abilities, initiative, accountability, and adaptability in a deadline-driven environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. Strong English communication skills; French language skills are encouraged based on business requirements. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams, dealers, vendors, agencies, partners, and industry contacts. Comfortable communicating business analysis, program details, priorities, and recommendations through presentations, meetings, email, and telephone. Proficiency with standard business systems and productivity tools, with the ability to quickly learn new reporting and operational platforms. Benefits: Annual salary of $72,921–$86,593, with individual compensation determined by education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
