Full job description
The analysts process, systematize and assess information, produce intelligence assessments and written decision-support products, collaborate with other analysts and national partners, and support operational and case-handling work. PST advertises two full-time permanent positions in Oslo. Salary is NOK 650,000–750,000 for adviser or NOK 750,000–920,000 for senior adviser, with pension and other state employment benefits; home office is not available.
Requirements & qualifications
Requires relevant completed higher education at minimum bachelor level in social sciences, languages or equivalent, or police/defence education; long relevant experience may compensate. Relevant tactical or operational analysis experience and very good written and spoken Norwegian and English are required. China/Iran language or cultural knowledge and intelligence-analysis experience are advantages. Appointment requires eligibility for STRENGT HEMMELIG and NATO SECRET security clearance and authorization.
