Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of an Appliance Repair Representative. We are a family owned company who has been in business since 1936 and continues to experience strong growth year after year. Abt Electronics specializes in electronics, appliance & furniture sales, delivery, installation and servicing all the products we sell. We are a perennial winner of the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplace Award. We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible & friendly Appliance Repair Representative to join our team. In addition, must be comfortable contributing/working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fun work environment. Primary duties include:
- Assisting customers over the phone with their appliance service needs
- Basic troubleshooting with appliance issues
- Creating service tickets to document customers’ needs
- Dispatching service techs to customers’ homes
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Basic operational knowledge of appliances
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to take initiative & make decisions
- Approachable & outgoing personality
- Scheduling includes night & weekend hours
- Bi-lingual a plus
