The role combines mathematical optimization, forecasting, machine learning and modern AI methods including large language models, generative AI and foundation models to improve network planning and automated decision-making across Amazon's supply chain.
Requirements & qualifications
Amazon lists a PhD, or a master's degree plus relevant experience, in computer science, computer engineering, machine learning or a related field; programming experience in languages such as Java, C++ or Python; and experience building models for business applications. Publications or patents and expertise in optimization methods are also listed.
