The Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) is hiring an Africa Economic Analyst to join its Ghana program and contribute to regional initiatives across Africa. The role focuses on economic and policy analysis in extractives governance, energy transition, transition minerals, and revenue management .

Who Can Apply
Applicants must:
Have at least 5 years’ experience as an economic analyst in international development.
Have 2+ years’ experience in extractive industry governance in Ghana.
Hold a Master’s degree in economics or related field .
Possess strong quantitative analysis skills and experience with datasets, financial models, and project economics.
Demonstrate experience working with government, civil society, and development partners.
Be fluent in English and have excellent written/spoken French .

Starting salary: $34,236 USD gross per annum .

Responsibilities

Build relationships with government, civil society, media, and private sector stakeholders.
Represent NRGI at conferences and policy forums.
