Your principal role will be to lead ME & Turkey teams to manage distributor relations, capture market dynamics and react to growth opportunities in your market. Create legacy for the brands and contribute to key decisions that will significantly impact our brand presence and positioning in the market. You will be based in Dubai. The role reports into Managing Director MEA.

Your ability to manage ontrade and off trade of the market with your distributors at any given time will be key, and motivating distributors to achieve their targets and celebrate excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:

Deliver Results and Excellence in Execution:

• Deliver key financial targets (NSV, Gross Margin, Overheads, Profitability, ROI, Value Share) versus budget.
• Build & Drive the ontrade community in the region.
• Building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with distributors, Off and On Trade customer partnerships.
• Responsible to set/build/sustain RTM, with distributors and wholesalers’ network to deliver key Commercial targets.
• Influence and input to the Hub IAP to ensure Country plans meet Customer needs to shape and deliver the customer and channel strategy of the Country to maximize long term value to the company
• Control in market Value Chain with regular updates based on information from all stakeholders.
• Monitor supply chain to ensure smooth market supply & maintain a high level of shipment forecast accuracy
• Ensuring optimum distribution and visibility of our brands (AVQPAP) across channels
• Control, manage and negotiate contracts for distribution agreements
• Monitoring and reporting competition in the market
• Best execution of Brand Plans with distributors and local trade to build long-term sustainable brand equity
• Responsible for creating and delivering the strategy inline with #BEST10 & regional commitment of Billion & Beyond.

Develop talent and capability

• Lead a pivotal team in the MEA cluster, ensuring development and strong leadership for the internal team and external teams sat under the distributor network
• Ensuring that your distributors have resources needed to deliver desired results (P&L, Customer Marketing, Execution0
• Ensuring all distributors understand the company policies and culture

Create a winning team

• Motivate distributors to achieve their targets and celebrate excellence
• Managing the Middle East & Turkey team; Commercial Manager & Customer Marketing Manager & their respective teams

SKILLS

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY:

• Minimum 12 years sales/marketing experience in FMCG or Alcohol and Beverage industry. Know how experience in the Middle East & extended Middle East Region is an advantage
• Distributor Management expertise is key criterion
• Proven track record of building High Performing Teams and Sales Delivery.
• Ability to thrive under high pressure situations, geo politically, lead cultural diversity within internal & external stakeholders
• Excellent written and spoken communication in English. Arabic is a bonus.
• Good financial acumen and exposure to managing Sales and P&Ls
• Experience in managing a market end to end
• Team Management experience and leadership a must
• Degree with a Sales or Marketing specialisation
• Proficiency in MS Office
