We are excited to be looking for a Area Veterinary Surgeon to cover inspiring vet care in parts of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire region. The role will involve carrying out routine surgeries and consultations with the possibility of sole charge work. You will work across multiple practices in the region. This role offers a great deal of flexibility and exposure to a variety of cases supporting clinical exposure and development. This opportunity also allows the opportunity to work with certificate holders including those with certificates in Surgery, Orthopaedics, Dermatology and Small Animal Medicine.

You are a confident and motivated veterinary surgeon who enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to delivering high-quality patient and client care. You’ll bring:

  • A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
  • Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues

  • Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
