ANII's permanent instrument supports joint innovation and technology-development projects between Uruguay's private sector and national research institutions.
Complete grant details
Projects must pair at least one private company with at least one national research-and-development institution. ANII finances up to 70% of total project cost with a normal maximum of UYU 5,000,000. Climate-mitigation/adaptation projects can reach UYU 6,000,000. Standard duration is up to 24 months, or up to 36 months for research lines involving biological or similar cycles.
