Job Purpose

A leading government entity in Dubai is seeking an experienced Assistant Director Sales Performance Management to drive sales effectiveness, productivity, and operational excellence. The role focuses on developing performance strategies, analyzing sales metrics, and implementing innovative solutions that enable the organization to achieve its strategic sales objectives.

Sales Performance Strategy

  • Support senior sales leadership in building and executing sales performance strategies aligned with government and organizational priorities.
  • Develop frameworks to evaluate and enhance sales processes, tools, and training to boost operational efficiency.

Performance Metrics & Analysis

  • Define KPIs and benchmarks to assess sales team and individual performance.
  • Analyze sales data regularly to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership to optimize revenue performance.

Sales Enablement

  • Identify training and development needs in collaboration with sales leaders.
  • Work with Learning & Development teams to design and deliver impactful sales training programs.
  • Oversee the implementation and adoption of sales tools and technologies.

Incentive & Rewards Programs

  • Design and manage incentive programs that motivate the sales team while aligning with government entity objectives.
  • Continuously assess and enhance rewards programs to ensure effectiveness.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, and other internal teams to align sales strategies with wider organizational initiatives.
  • Promote a collaborative, performance-driven culture within the sales division.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in sales management are an advantage

Experience

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role
  • Demonstrated success improving sales team performance in a corporate or government setting
  • Strong experience in sales data analysis and insight-driven decision-making
  • Experience implementing training programs and sales enablement tools
  • Experience managing incentive and rewards programs
  • Proven ability to work effectively across departments
