Assistant General Counsel, Commercial

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Assistant General Counsel, Commercial based in the United States. The Assistant General Counsel, Commercial will serve as a senior legal advisor supporting sales, partnerships, and strategic business initiatives. This role will take ownership of complex commercial matters from negotiation through completion, helping the business move quickly while managing legal and regulatory risk. You will negotiate high-value customer, channel, and strategic partnership agreements in a fast-growing technology environment. The position combines commercial contracting expertise with strong knowledge of privacy, regulatory, compliance, and technology-related matters. You will partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Product, Privacy, and other cross-functional teams to align business priorities with appropriate risk thresholds. The role also provides an opportunity to influence legal processes, develop playbooks, lead internal initiatives, and mentor junior legal professionals.
