Full job description

At Commure, we're building the AI Operating System for healthcare, the foundation that defines how care is delivered, documented, and financed. Our platform spans the full care journey: Ambient AI and Dictation eliminating documentation burden at the point of care, intelligent Agents automating patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing billions in claims, all on a single AI-native platform integrated with 60+ EHRs. Healthcare carries a $1 trillion administrative burden and we're at the center of transforming it. Today, 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations nationwide trust Commure to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support over 200 million patient interactions. Our latest $70M raise at a $7B valuation reflects the confidence the market has placed in this mission. We've also been named to the Fortune Future 50 list and the 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards for “Overall NLP Company of the Year.” Our team works directly alongside clinicians, not through layers of process, which means the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. We move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production. If you're energized by hard problems, high stakes, and a team that holds itself to a high bar, you'll find your people here. The future of healthcare is being built right now. Come deliver this transformation. About the Role As Assistant Manager, RCM Operations, you will lead and manage teams responsible for process automation, LLM-based solutions, and operational tooling. You’ll set direction, optimize workflows, and ensure delivery at scale. You will be responsible for driving cross-functional initiatives, ensuring operational excellence, and enhancing process efficiency through data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with the Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to define, implement, and optimize critical workflows. We’re seeking a top 1% operator who combines deep technical expertise with people management, extreme ownership, and an obsession with customer impact. What You’ll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of analysts, engineers, and automation specialists.
  • Set clear goals, define expectations, and build a culture of ownership, accountability, and performance.
  • Scale teams and systems to support 4x company growth over the coming year.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of LLM-based automation pipelines for RCM workflows.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define technical specs and scalable architecture.
  • Drive end-to-end program execution across AI/ML tooling and workflow/bot deployments.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in workflows, and architect systems to improve accuracy, speed, and scalability.
  • Standardize documentation, implement QA checkpoints, and build dashboards to monitor automation success.
  • Use SQL, Python, or scripting tools to build and maintain custom automations and reporting pipelines.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using tools like SQL, Excel, and BI platforms to monitor program health and operational success.
  • Serve as the operational link between BD and the US RCM team, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on priorities.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
  • Represent Automation in leadership reviews, report out on team KPIs, blockers, and upcoming initiatives. What You Have
  • Experience & Background: 3+ years of experience in technical operations roles (e.g., Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Technical Program Manager) within fast-paced, high-growth environments; experience in fintech, healthcare, or SaaS is preferred.
  • Top 1% operators: You are known for being one of the strongest performers on every team you’ve been on, and you consistently go above and beyond what’s expected.
  • Builder mindset: You thrive in zero-to-one environments, proactively create systems to solve problems at scale, and treat every inefficiency as a chance to automate or improve.
  • Extreme ownership: You don’t wait for permission, avoid passing blame, and treat outcomes, especially missed ones as personal responsibility.
  • Hungry and ambitious: You’re energized by tough challenges, committed to long hours, and excited to grow quickly as the company scales 4x over the coming year.
  • Customer-obsessed: You understand that our work supports doctors and patients, and you approach every project with urgency and empathy.
  • Independent executor: You don’t need hand-holding; stay organized, and consistently deliver without reminders. You move fast and course-correct just as quickly.
  • Proven ability to lead and guide technical teams in the design, development, and deployment of automation tools and AI-driven solutions.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, Python, and related scripting languages, not just for personal use but to review code quality, validate technical decisions, and mentor junior team members in best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with stakeholder goals while maintaining high standards of data integrity, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Experience overseeing the architecture and implementation of data pipelines, automation triggers, and integration frameworks using tools such as Zapier, Alteryx, and Power BI.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies, with experience in managing sprints, prioritizing backlogs, and aligning cross-functional technical teams toward delivery goals.
  • Comfortable evaluating and implementing emerging technologies, including LLM-based APIs and automation platforms, to drive innovation within operations.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
