Bartlett Roofing specializes in residential and commercial storm-damage restoration. We work directly with homeowners and their insurance carriers to restore properties impacted by weather events, delivering quality solutions that build long-term relationships.

We’re seeking a hands-on Assistant Production Manager to support the daily operations of our Production team. This person will lead field employees, oversee quality control and repair work, assist with customer concerns, and provide operational support to the Production Manager.

This is not a desk-only position. The right candidate will be comfortable leading employees, visiting jobsites, solving problems in the field, and stepping into different production workflows as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in roofing, construction, production, field operations, or a related industry
  • Previous experience leading or supervising field employees
  • Knowledge of roofing installation, repairs, quality control, and jobsite safety
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to safely access roofs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily field operations for quality control and repair activities.
  • Directly supervise Quality Control Representatives, Repair Technicians, and other assigned field employees.
  • Assign work, monitor progress, and adjust field coverage based on team capacity and business needs.
  • Coach employees, provide regular feedback, and address performance or quality concerns.
  • Review inspections and job documentation for accuracy and completion.
  • Identify recurring quality issues and help implement solutions that prevent future problems.
  • Coordinate repair work and ensure homeowners receive timely, professional communication.
  • Assist with customer escalations and step in when leadership support is required.
  • Monitor the proper use of company vehicles, tools, materials, and other resources.
  • Provide backup support for scheduling, permitting, crew assignments, material orders, and project closeout.
  • Support the Production Manager during absences, high-volume periods, and operational emergencies.
  • Help maintain a safe, organized, and accountable field operation.
