Full job description

The department particularly welcomes expertise in human-computer interaction, applied AI, cyber-physical systems or cybersecurity, while applications from other areas of computer science are also considered. Duties include introductory and advanced teaching, supervision of Master's and PhD students, research and publication, attracting funding and departmental administration.

Requirements & qualifications

Applicants need a PhD in computer science, software engineering or a closely related field, an active international publication record, and good written and spoken English. Teaching/supervision experience, research-funding success, interdisciplinary or industry collaboration are advantages. Icelandic is advantageous; appointees are required to reach B1 Icelandic within four years.
