Assistant Relationship Manager

Client Relationship Support

• Support Relationship Managers and senior coverage bankers in managing corporate client relationships.
• Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day client servicing requests.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure timely resolution of client queries.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to enhance the overall customer experience.

Corporate Banking Operations

• Manage operational activities including account opening, profile changes, fixed deposits, transfers, and account maintenance requests.
• Coordinate client onboarding documentation and ensure compliance with internal requirements.
• Support the implementation and adoption of digital banking solutions for corporate clients.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure client information remains up to date.

Transaction & Service Management

• Follow up on customer requests, payments, transfers, salary files, and related banking transactions.
• Monitor and manage alerts related to account operations, compliance, and servicing requirements.
• Assist with fixed deposit administration and related portfolio activities.
• Ensure smooth processing and efficient turnaround of client requests.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with Operations, Compliance, Trade Finance, Payments, and other support functions.
• Act as an effective liaison between Coverage teams and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate issues where required and ensure prompt resolution.
• Support Relationship Managers with management reporting and portfolio information.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure all activities are conducted in line with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain awareness of account opening requirements, KYC standards, and internal control procedures.
• Ensure trade licences and client documentation remain updated and compliant.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, customer service, corporate banking support, relationship management support, or a similar client-facing role.
• Experience supporting corporate or commercial banking clients is highly desirable.

Industry Exposure

• Understanding of Corporate Banking products and services.
• Exposure to account opening, transaction banking, deposits, payments, or client servicing activities.
• Familiarity with banking operations and internal banking systems.
