Translate complex scientific evidence into clear, concise, persuasive, and audience-appropriate medical narratives for healthcare professionals and other stakeholders. Partner with account and project leads to understand project scope and status, support accurate budgeting and resourcing, and facilitate effective communication across multidisciplinary teams. Contribute to business development activities, including new business proposals, presentations, and client pitches. Support broader departmental and organizational initiatives and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Requirements 3+ years of experience in healthcare communications, preferably within an agency environment, with a strong track record of producing high-quality medical communications deliverables. Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a related discipline; PhD, MD, or PharmD preferred. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, compelling, scientifically rigorous narratives for diverse audiences, including primary care physicians and specialists. Strong scientific reasoning and the ability to analyze complex data, identify meaningful insights, and translate them into actionable and compliant communications. Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, accounts, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining quality in a fast-paced environment. Proven leadership or people-management experience, including the ability to mentor, coach, and support the development of medical writers. Strong client-facing, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with a solutions-oriented and accountable approach. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, online proofing platforms such as Workfront Proof or Ziflow, and Veeva Vault. Experience using AI-powered tools and resources responsibly to support scientific research, content development, and workflow efficiency. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work effectively across functions, and contribute to a culture centered on collaboration, excellence, continuous improvement, and accountability. Benefits Salary range of $100,000–$125,000 USD , with compensation determined by factors such as experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
