Associate Medical Physicist

Location: Valdosta, GA

Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Salary: Approximately $175,000 annually

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week. No weekends or on call!

Blue United Sourcing is seeking an Associate Medical Physicist to join an established Radiation Oncology team. This role is ideal for a physicist who has completed ABR Part 1, has completed or is well advanced in residency, and is ready to continue progressing toward full board certification while working alongside an experienced ABR-certified physicist.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Calibrate radiation therapy equipment and verify safe operation
  • Perform and verify calculations for external beam therapy and brachytherapy
  • Support quality assurance activities and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with the clinical team on treatment planning and patient safety

Requirements

  • Graduate degree in Medical Physics (or related physical science) preferred
  • Successful completion of ABR Part 1
  • Medical Physics residency completed or well advanced
  • Board eligible for ABR or ABMP certification
  • Current healthcare provider CPR certification
