Associate Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Project Manager based in the United States. As an Associate Project Manager, you’ll help coordinate multidisciplinary technical projects spanning software, hardware, design, data, and AI. You’ll work closely with engineering teams, senior project leaders, and clients to keep priorities, timelines, and deliverables aligned. The role offers early ownership while providing support and mentorship from experienced program leaders. You’ll help manage ambiguity, identify risks, and bring structure to fast-moving projects. Clear communication and proactive follow-through will be central to building strong client relationships and delivery confidence. This is an opportunity to develop the planning, communication, and leadership skills needed to progress toward independently managing programs within 12–18 months.

Support the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple technical projects across software, hardware, design, data, and AI teams. Maintain project schedules, documentation, deliverable trackers, dependencies, and action items to provide clear visibility into project progress. Communicate proactively with clients and internal stakeholders regarding status, priorities, blockers, risks, scope changes, and next steps. Help facilitate sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, client meetings, and internal project meetings while ensuring actions are captured and followed through. Identify and escalate project risks, dependencies, and potential scope or timeline changes early to maintain alignment. Support senior project and program managers in applying agile and iterative delivery frameworks and improving project delivery practices. Help balance scope, budget, timelines, and quality while working within real-world project constraints. Contribute to proposal development, project planning, and preparation for upcoming client engagements. Support continuous improvement by participating in retrospectives and identifying opportunities to make delivery processes more effective. Work toward developing the capabilities required to independently manage programs within approximately 12–18 months. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 1–3 years of professional experience in a technical, engineering, project, or similar environment. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable updates. Comfortable working in fast-paced, client-facing environments where priorities and requirements may evolve. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and communicate effectively with software, hardware, data, AI, and design professionals. Familiarity with modern engineering workflows, including Git, Agile methodologies, cloud services, and project management platforms. Proficiency with Google Workspace and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Notion, Slack, GitHub, or similar platforms. Comfortable working with modern AI-based tools and adapting to emerging technologies. Strong client orientation, with a focus on providing stakeholders with the information and context needed to make informed decisions. Proactive, curious, structured, and comfortable working through ambiguity and solving problems in real time. Valid U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not currently available. Benefits Base compensation of $72,500 USD per year , commensurate with experience. Variable compensation of up to 5% . Fully remote position within the United States. 401(k) match.
