What you will do

The Associate Service Engineer supports the maintenance, troubleshooting, and field execution of Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting System activities. You will work closely with the Field Line Manager, Operations Team Leader, customers, subcontractors, supervisors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues, support planned maintenance, and ensure smooth site delivery.

  • Provide technical support for the maintenance and troubleshooting of Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting System equipment.
  • Investigate and resolve day-to-day technical system issues, errors, and service concerns.
  • Support site implementation activities in coordination with customers, subcontractors, supervisors, and field and office teams.
  • Track and execute scheduled Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities as per approved plans.
  • Support L&M and POC jobs, including testing and commissioning, and provide timely progress updates.
  • Prepare technical, service, and field reports for review by the Operations Team Leader and Field Line Manager.
  • Submit required job documentation on time to support invoicing and service closure.
  • Build positive customer relationships and help create a professional service experience on site.

How you will do it

  • Maintain Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting System assets according to the agreed scope of work, procedures, and checklists.
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance against the approved schedule and raise concerns early when deviations appear.
  • Prepare accurate field service reports, checklists, and daily service logs to keep work visible and traceable.
  • Report technical status and open issues daily to the Operations Team Leader or Field Line Manager so decisions can be made quickly.
  • Work safely and with integrity, taking ownership of your output and supporting safe behavior on site for yourself and subcontractors.
  • Stay close to the work, coordinate effectively with stakeholders, and remove barriers to help the customer and team move forward.
  • Improve every day through clear communication, candor, field learning, and practical problem-solving.
  • Win as one team by supporting colleagues, technicians, customers, and internal partners with trust and collaboration.
  • Provide system operation training and prepare handover documents to support a smooth transition to the customer.
  • Learn continuously in the field through self-study, mentorship, and guidance from experienced staff and technical support.

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • 0-1 year of experience, including internship experience, in an electrical or fire-related field.
  • Good understanding of Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting System maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Result-oriented, self-motivated, tenacious, and customer focused.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to different stakeholder and partner working styles.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to support business analysis as needed.
  • Fluency in English.
