Audio Transcription Adjudicator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Audio Transcription Adjudicator based in India. This is a remote freelance opportunity supporting an English (US) speech data project focused on high-quality word-level transcription and timestamp annotations. In this role, you will review disputed or ambiguous annotations and make final decisions that help maintain accuracy and consistency across the project. You will work directly with audio data, applying detailed style guidelines and using strong linguistic judgment to resolve challenging cases. Your decisions will contribute to improving the quality of data used to develop more culturally relevant and inclusive AI systems. The role offers flexible project-based work with a commitment of 15–20 hours per week. It is well suited to professionals with transcription, annotation, linguistic review, or quality assurance experience who are comfortable working independently.
