Available Working Patterns

  • 8:00am to 4:00pm, five days per week

  • 9:00am to 5:00pm, five days per week

  • Four long days per week

Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7 Paediatric Audiologist to join a specialist paediatric audiology service.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive clinical team, providing high-quality audiological assessment and management for children. The scope of practice will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience, clinical skills, and competency.

For full-time applicants, there is an expectation of 8 clinical sessions and 2 administrative sessions per week. Part-time applications are welcomed, and flexible job plans can be discussed where possible to accommodate individual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake comprehensive paediatric audiological assessments.

  • Diagnose and manage hearing disorders in infants, children, and young people.

  • Provide specialist advice and support to children, families, and carers.

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.

  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with professional standards.

  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Manage a clinical caseload appropriate to experience and competency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • BSc or equivalent qualification in Audiology.

  • Registration with the appropriate professional body where applicable.

  • Previous experience working within paediatric audiology services.

  • Strong knowledge of paediatric hearing assessments and management pathways.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.
