Role Overview
The Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator is responsible for operating and evaluating a self-driving vehicle in autonomous mode, collecting data, providing feedback, and offering ride-hail services to the general public. The role os performed remotely.
Eligibility Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old.
-
Possess a valid driver's license with at least three (3) years of driving experience.

Ability to operate and supervise the vehicle remotely using a computer or tablet.

Proficiency in Flemish, with additional fluency in French or English.
Key responsibilities
-
Operate and monitor autonomous vehicles on both predefined and undefined routes, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Drive manually when required but primarily supervise and evaluate the vehicle's autonomous mode.

Use a computer and tablet to track vehicle performance, log issues, and provide feedback.

Complete timely and detailed ride reports for engineering and operations teams.

Provide verbal feedback and direction about the autonomous vehicle (AV) environment.

Work flexible shifts, 4 hours/day, 6 days/week.

Maintain a high standard of safety both inside and outside the vehicle.
Necessary Skills & Qualifications

Valid Driver's License with at least three (3) years of driving experience.

Basic computer and tablet skills to operate software applications and supervise the vehicle remotely.

Proficiency with laptops, Office apps (i.e., Gmail, Sheets, Docs), and touch-screen smartphones.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to provide clear and concise feedback.

Ability to work independently while following safety procedures.
