JOB SUMMARY / INTRODUCTION

• The role is responsible for checking and vetting of documentation relating to credit facilities and accurate detailing before lodging the same into the Bank’s system. Further, he/she is responsible for ensuring the enforceability/authenticity of the security documents executed by the customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing a team of Documentation Support Managers, Specialists, and Filing Clerks.
• Approving the registration and release of mortgages over properties, vehicles, machinery, equipment, and pledges of shares in Arabic.
• Reviewing the preparation of all types of mortgage agreements and amendments across all Corporate Banking segments in Arabic.
• Reviewing and approving official correspondence in Arabic addressed to the Presidential Affairs Court, Crown Prince Court, UAE Courts, UAE Central Bank, Abu Dhabi/Al Ain Municipality, Dubai and Northern Emirates Land Departments, RTA, Abu Dhabi Traffic Department, ADX, DFM, EIRC, ADGM, DIFC, UAE Free Zones, and the Abu Dhabi and Dubai Chambers of Commerce.
• Approving payments related to pledge and mortgage registration and de-registration fees with ADX, DFM, the relevant Municipalities, Land Departments, RTA, and the Abu Dhabi Traffic Department.
• Overseeing UAE Central Bank reporting and reconciliations.
• Managing the scanning and safekeeping of original security documents across all Corporate Banking segments, including Global Markets, Syndications, and International.
• Participating in projects assigned by the Head of the Documentation Unit.
• Providing timely support and assistance in the preparation of RSCA, SOPs, BIA, and BCP documentation.
• REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance.
• 8-10 years’ experience in Corporate Banking with at least 8 years’ experience in the Corporate CAD function.
• Knowledge and use of banking software systems, basic PC skills and common MS applications like Excel and Word.
• Good knowledge of English language (both written and spoken).
• Good knowledge of Bank's financial system.
• Very good knowledge of Banking Products / Corporate Credit Administration functions.
• Good knowledge of U.A.E. legal environment & Central Bank regulations.
• Team worker, ability to work under pressure, fast learner, attention to details.
