The position manages on-site operational physical security for AWS non-traditional data-center environments and supports multiple EMEA sites. Responsibilities include incident investigation, security reporting, risk and threat assessments, security-service-provider management, training and compliance with standards including SOC 1, SOC 2 and ISO 27001. Amazon states that travel is typically 25-40%.
Requirements & qualifications
Because the successful candidate will support the European Sovereign Cloud product, Amazon states that the job holder must be a citizen of an EU member state. Basic qualifications include 5-7 years of security-operations experience, at least 3 years in a leadership role, familiarity with ISO 27001, working knowledge of video-surveillance equipment, experience training others in security procedures and a valid driver's licence.
