Overview
The Azrieli International Postdoctoral Fellowship supports outstanding international researchers in any academic discipline to conduct postdoctoral research at eligible Israeli universities during the 2027–2028 academic year.

Up to 24 fellowships are awarded each year. Fellows receive ILS 14,000 per month plus ILS 20,000 annually for research expenses and research-related travel, alongside professional development and the Azrieli Fellows Program community. Applicants must secure an academic sponsor at an eligible Israeli institution before applying.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must have been awarded a PhD no earlier than November 1, 2023 outside Israel, or be current PhD candidates who will successfully defend by June 1, 2027. Applicants must not have earned an academic degree from an Israeli institution, must not have begun a postdoctoral position in Israel before September 1, 2026, and must secure an academic sponsor at an eligible Israeli institution.
