The Balkan Olympiad of Informatics 2026 will be held in Tirana from 14–20 September 2026 for national teams of secondary-school programmers.

Each participating country sends a team of up to four students selected through national competitions. Contestants must be secondary-school students in the competition year and no older than 19. Organizers cover local expenses under BOI regulations, while teams pay travel to and from the competition. Certificates are provided, with medals and honorable mentions awarded under the rules.
