Job Title: Aseptic Pharmacy Technician Banding: Band 5/6 Location: North Wales Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3 Months Initially Hourly Rate: Band 5 - £17 - £19 Band - 6 £22 - £24   Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Aseptic Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team in Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled pharmacy technician to work within a specialist aseptic services environment, supporting the safe preparation, quality assurance, and supply of aseptically prepared medicines. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high standards of pharmaceutical quality and patient safety, working closely with pharmacists and aseptic services staff to support the delivery of an efficient and effective service. Key Responsibilities Support the preparation and supply of aseptically prepared medicines in accordance with departmental procedures. Work within Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and quality assurance requirements. Assist with the maintenance of aseptic services documentation and records. Support environmental monitoring, validation, and quality control activities. Ensure compliance with relevant medicines legislation and governance requirements. Work collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals. Contribute to service development and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Maintain high standards of accuracy, safety, and professionalism at all times. Qualifications and Experience Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Have previous NHS hospital pharmacy experience. Demonstrate experience working within an aseptic services environment. Possess a sound understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles. Have knowledge of quality assurance processes and aseptic preparation standards. Be able to work accurately and effectively within a regulated environment. Demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Be capable of working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Why Choose Pulse?
