We are currently hiring a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Driver to support both client care and transportation services at out residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment center in Duncansville. In this role you will be serving adults on their path to recovery and long-term wellness. This role is critical to daily operations, ensuring clients receive safe, reliable transportation while also providing hands-on support throughout their recovery journey.

Pay & Schedule

Hiring 2nd & 3rd Shift only at this time.

$15/hr (+ shift differential)

Key Responsibilities

Client Care & Support

• Assist with client intake and onboarding processes

• Observe and document self-administration of medication (as applicable)

• Support implementation of individualized treatment plans

• Monitor client behavior and respond appropriately, including crisis intervention

• Assist with daily living activities, including meals and environment upkeep

Transportation Duties

• Safely transport clients to appointments, meetings, and community activities

• Supervise and support clients during transport

• Ensure timely arrival and adherence to schedules

• Maintain all required transportation and service documentation

Program Operations

• Coordinate and assist with client activities and programming

• Maintain a safe, clean, and structured residential environment

• Complete all required training and compliance documentation

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

• Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or healthcare preferred

• Experience in customer service, transportation, or caregiving roles is a plus

Certifications & Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)

• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (required or willing to obtain)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure situations

• Dependable, organized, and safety-focused
