This is a hands-on opportunity to support adults receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment while helping create a safe, structured, and supportive environment. If you’re compassionate, dependable, and interested in building a career in behavioral health, this is an opportunity to make a direct impact while gaining valuable experience in the field. What You’ll Do As a BHT, you’ll work directly with clients and the treatment team to support daily programming, client safety, and recovery goals. Responsibilities include: Provide direct supervision, support, and engagement to clients Assist with client intake, orientation, and daily routines Monitor and document client behavior, progress, and incidents Support therapeutic activities, groups, and scheduled programming Observe and document medication self-administration according to protocol Assist with transportation to appointments and program activities Respond appropriately to behavioral or emotional crises using approved interventions Support clients with activities of daily living and dietary needs Maintain a clean, safe, and structured residential environment Complete required documentation, training, and compliance activities Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative team members What You’ll Need Required: High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license and safe driving record CPR, First Aid, and AED certification, or ability to obtain upon hire Preferred: Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, mental health, healthcare, residential treatment, or social services Experience working with vulnerable populations You’ll Be a Good Fit If You: Communicate well and work effectively as part of a team Can remain calm and professional during challenging situations Have strong judgment and problem-solving skills Understand the importance of professional boundaries Are dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working directly with clients Why Join Pyramid Healthcare? $17.00/hour + up to $1.50 shift differential Day shift schedule Full-time and part-time opportunities Medical, dental, and vision benefits for eligible employees PTO and 401(k) Paid training Career growth opportunities within behavioral health and addiction treatment Mission-driven team focused on helping individuals build healthier futures Join Pyramid Healthcare and make a difference in someone's recovery every day.
