The Government of Benin states that registration is open from August 17 through September 25, 2026, with the new training year beginning September 28. Applications are received at 13 public CFPA centres in Abomey, Agoua, Agouagon, Athiémé, Covè, Djidja, Dogbo, Djougou, Kouandé, Nikki, Pahou, Sè and Zè. The application file includes the training-choice form, proof of birth and a CFA 1,000 dossier-review receipt. Available trades vary by centre.
Eligibility requirements
CQM applicants must be at least 14 years old by December 31, 2026 and motivated to learn a trade. CQP applicants must be out of school, meet the stated education level for the chosen trade, be at least 14 by December 31, 2026 and pass the selection test.
