The Civil Service Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is recruiting two civil servants in Sarajevo for the Public Administration Reform Coordinator's Office: a Senior Legal Affairs Associate and a Public Administration Reform Associate.

Full job description

Position 1/01 provides legal advice and analysis for public-administration reform, drafts legal opinions and related documents, and supports legal aspects of technical assistance and procurement; its published basic net salary is 1,761.69 KM. Position 1/02 supports reform-team meetings, reports and correspondence, tracks international practice and reform legislation, and assists project documentation; its published basic net salary is 1,588.98 KM. The official agency currently reports a technical problem with its e-recruitment system and instructs applicants to submit by registered post until the issue is resolved.

Requirements & qualifications

For 1/01, a law degree and at least two years of relevant professional experience are required, along with strong knowledge of Bosnia and Herzegovina's legal/public-administration framework, computer skills and writing/communication ability; English is desirable. For 1/02, a higher-education qualification in social sciences and at least one year of relevant experience are required, plus computer skills, good English, knowledge of public-administration reform and European integration, and strong communication, writing and negotiation skills. General civil-service eligibility conditions also apply.
