Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Brand Design Lead based in United States. As Brand Design Lead, you will help shape and evolve a distinctive brand across campaigns, web experiences, launches, and events. You’ll combine strategic thinking with exceptional design craft to develop work that is memorable, expressive, and consistently on brand. The role gives you ownership of both individual creative projects and the broader systems that enable teams to create at scale. You’ll collaborate with marketing, product, sales, engineering, and creative partners while guiding external specialists such as illustrators and design engineers. You’ll also explore AI-powered tools and workflows to increase creative impact without compromising quality or judgment. This is an opportunity to influence a growing brand while mentoring designers and setting a high creative standard across the organization.
Evolve and extend the brand across campaigns, websites, launches, events, social channels, and other customer touchpoints. Lead creative concepts and design execution for major campaigns and launches, from initial brief through final delivery. Develop scalable brand systems, guidelines, toolkits, and assets that enable teams to produce consistent work independently. Establish and maintain a high creative bar across brand initiatives, balancing strategic thinking with exceptional executional craft. Identify opportunities to push the brand beyond expected interpretations and create distinctive, memorable experiences. Use AI tools and creative processes to increase production scale and efficiency while maintaining quality and strong creative judgment. Direct internal and external creative partners, including illustrators, design engineers, and other specialists. Collaborate closely with product, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure brand consistency and creative alignment. Mentor designers and contribute to the development of creative talent across the organization. Act as an ambassador for strong design craft and help build a culture of thoughtful, ambitious creative work. Contribute to immersive web experiences, campaigns, and brand activations that strengthen engagement and conversion. Learn from creative experiments and setbacks, using outcomes to continuously improve future work. Requirements: 6+ years of professional experience in brand design, either in-house, at an agency, or a combination of both. A strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and high-level execution across web, social, paid media, campaigns, and other brand applications. Expert command of typography, color, composition, and core visual design principles. Demonstrated experience developing brand systems that scale beyond an individual designer's output. Experience leading or directing external creative partners and specialists. Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to turn broad creative challenges into compelling visual directions. Fluency with AI tools and workflows for creative production, along with strong judgment about when AI should and should not be used. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate creative concepts clearly. Strong mentoring and creative leadership skills. Experience working within a SaaS or technology company, particularly in creative software, is a plus. Motion design, front-end development, or illustration skills are a plus. Experience creating generative brand tools or systems is a plus. Comfort presenting work publicly and appearing on camera is a plus. Ability to work independently, challenge assumptions, and bring a distinctive creative perspective to evolving brand challenges. Benefits: $140,000–$185,000 annual base salary. Generous healthcare package. 401(k) matching program. Catered lunches. Flexible vacation time. Remote work options across the United States. Flexible hybrid working arrangements for eligible roles. Opportunities for in-person collaboration and team gatherings throughout the year. Opportunity to make a measurable impact within a growing technology company.
