About BlaBlaCar

BlaBlaCar is the world’s leading community-based travel app enabling 27 million members a year to carpool or travel by bus in 21 countries. Our team of 800 employees counts over 50 nationalities and is spread across our 5 global offices, 30% working fully remotely.

Your Mission We're looking for a Brand Designer who lives and breathes design. Someone who evolves a brand with taste and restraint, obsesses over craft and detail, and never loses the idea underneath. You'll own brand design work end to end, from concept to pixel to motion, keeping BlaBlaCar's identity coherent, distinctive and alive as it scales. This isn't a ticket-executor role. It's for a designer with an ownable point of view, someone who can defend a creative decision in a room full of stakeholders and make the brand better every time they touch it.

You'll join our lean, senior, craft-obsessed in-house Brand Design team, reporting to the Brand Design Lead. We own the brand across every touchpoint, from the refresh being deployed at scale to campaigns and video. We don't separate strategy from craft: for us they're the same act. Internal stakeholders: Growth Team, Local Markets (FR & BR), Product Design, Brand strategy, plus a pool of specialist freelancers.

Own brand projects end to end: from brief and concept through to polished, production-ready craft, across campaigns and the brand refresh system. Evolve the brand system tastefully: extend and refine our visual language (type, colour, layout, illustration and motion) so it stays consistent and distinctive as it scales. Turn strategy into craft: make work where concept and execution speak the same language, and sweat every detail: typography, composition, grid, consistency. Design in motion: bring the system to life with animation and motion design across social, video and digital surfaces, thinking in movement and pacing, in service of clarity rather than decoration. Design at the forefront of technology: bring AI and emerging tools into the craft tastefully and with purpose, using them to help evolve the brand and serve the work, never letting the tool drive the idea. Partner across stakeholders: collaborate with Marketing, Local Markets and Product, presenting, defending and aligning your work with people at all levels. Keep the source of truth current: maintain guidelines, components and assets, and push new formats and references rather than only running the existing playbook.

Experience: 5 to 8 years in brand or creative design, in-house or agency, with a concept-led, systems-driven portfolio and a strong visual point of view carried through to finished execution. Design obsession: you follow the studios, designers and trends, and you can say why work is good, with the taste to know when to add and when to restrain. Craft: expert in Figma and strong across the Adobe suite, including After Effects and motion design. Strong command of typography, layout systems, colour, illustration and motion (composition, colour and pacing). AI and emerging tools: fluent with AI-assisted design workflows and curious about what's next, with the judgment to put them in service of the brand rather than the other way around. Autonomy: runs work from concept to production independently, on projects of increasing complexity. Languages: full fluency in English is mandatory. If you don't meet 100% of the qualifications outlined above, tell us why you'd still be a great fit for this role in your application!

Hybrid position 4 additional weeks on top of legal maternity/paternity leaves 50% healthcare coverage (Alan) Financial support for home office equipment Minimum 25 days holiday per year Local meal plan policy (Swile card) 50% transportation paid (Forfait Mobilité Durable) Free unlimited carpooling & bus rides Personal growth via trainings, mentorship, and internal mobility programs Employee Stock ownership plan Regular team building events 1 day off per year to test our product

Here's what your hiring journey will look like: A 45-min video call with Talent Acquisition. A 45-min video call with the Brand Design Team. Remote portfolio and design exercise, followed by a 45-min presentation to a cross-functional panel. Final validation call with the Growth VP.
